Google Calendar

Your calendar fills itself, within the times you set.

Booking an appointment used to take two phone calls and a call back because you were on site. Now the customer picks a moment from the hours you released, gets an immediate confirmation, and the appointment sits in your overview. You only call to talk through the job.

How it runs

  • You set which hours are available per day, how long an appointment takes and how much time you want between them. Nobody can book outside those hours.
  • Every appointment arrives in your appointments overview with the customer details and their question, and lands in your inbox so you can drop it into your own calendar.
  • The customer gets an immediate confirmation with date, time and address, and a reminder the day before. That saves the visits where nobody is home.
  • You move or cancel from the dashboard; the customer is notified automatically.
  • The assistant books too. If a visitor asks for an appointment, it finds a slot within your hours and books it, at eleven at night as well.

Why this matters

Half your enquiries arrive when you cannot pick up. Someone who can choose a moment themselves becomes a customer; someone who has to wait for your call back rings the next name in the meantime. Because you decide which hours are open, part of your appointments shift to evenings and weekends without you doing anything for it.

Questions

Questions about this integration

Not from the system: bookings only happen in hours you released, and a filled slot disappears from the list immediately. If you put something in your own calendar at a time you opened here, take that time out.
